What’s this blog about?

Let’s start by stating the obvious, Kasiawrites is a travel blog. There are many blogs about travel out there, so what makes this one so different? That’s a good question. I started this blog to share a different kind of travel experience – one that’s not just about ticking off a list of tourist attractions but about discovering the world’s most fascinating cultural and natural wonders.

Travel, after all, should always be an adventure. I’m here to offer insider tips, hidden gems and personal insights to help you plan your next adventure with ease and excitement. I focus on sharing stories and insights that go beyond superficial tourist info to help you indulge your passion for cultural exploration.

Museums

My love for museums started as a kid and has continued all my life. My mom frequently took me to museums and the theatre, where I discovered faraway lands and fascinating stories of the past. Whenever I travel, I try to visit at least one museum in each destination, but I also understand that not everyone feels the same. I write a lot about museums to help others uncover the magic I found there so many years ago and to make museums less intimidating and more fun.

UNESCO Sites

As a culture and history lover, I often frequent UNESCO world heritage sites on my travels and try to check them off my bucket list. From ancient ruins, designated buildings and even whole town districts to cultural and natural landscapes, I want to see all 1,000+ of them at some point. It’s probably not going to happen, but you know, goals.

Architecture

Architecture hunting is one of my fave activities when visiting new cities. I write about architecture to appreciate the beauty and importance of buildings but also to inspire others to learn more about the places they visit. There is something about the different styles of architecture that fascinates me. Whether it’s the grandeur of Gothic cathedrals, the sleek lines of modern skyscrapers, or the intricate details of Art Nouveau buildings, there is always something new to discover and appreciate.

OUTDOOR

The great outdoors is where I find my peace and inspiration. There is something deeply relaxing about being surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, whether it’s the vastness of the ocean or the majesty of a mountain range. I love hiking in the mountains, relaxing on stunning beaches and unwinding at relaxing spas and natural springs. I love the thrill of outdoor adventures as much as wellness travel.
